We offer assessment, treatment and management planning services. You may wish to consult us regarding management of your problem, or alternatively, your treating therapist or practitioner may request we provide a one-off review of your problem, to provide additional suggestions for management. We encourage treating therapists to sit-in on the consultation as part of our collaborative approach. Family members are also welcome to attend.
Second Opinion Service
Our Specialist Physiotherapists are widely regarded by Physiotherapists and other health professionals around Australia as experts in their field.
We offer a second opinion service for people who:
- have a complex problem
- don’t have a clear diagnosis
- have tried other treatments without success
- want to optimise their recovery
- or just don’t know where to turn next
When you visit us for a second opinion, you will get:
- an evidence informed diagnosis
- a list of factors contributing to your problem
- a plan for management
The second opinion service can be conducted in person, or for rural or remote clients, we also offer a telehealth / Skype consultation service.
Clients may initiate our second opinion service personally, but we also take referrals for second opinions from:
- other Physiotherapists
- doctors and medical specialists
- insurers
- vocational rehabilitation providers
- exercise physiologists
- other health professionals
- employers
We encourage treating therapists to sit-in on the consultation as part of our collaborative approach. Family members or important others are also welcome to attend.
